FIGR was founded in 2016 as a premier vertically-integrated cannabis producer. FIGR owns and operates two fully licensed facilities; its primary operation is a 330K Sq.Ft. greenhouse facility in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada (“FIGR East”); FIGR’s facility in Simcoe, Ontario, Canada (“FIGR Norfolk”) is a 19K Sq.Ft. indoor-growing facility that produces cannabis flower.

Figr was a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of Pyxus International, Inc, until 2021, when North Carolina-based Pyxus announced that it was divesting its Canadian assets, which included Figr Brands, Canada’s Island Garden, and Figr Norfolk, after filing for bankruptcy protection in June 2020. Figr Brands and Canada’s Island Garden were acquired by a group of Prince Edward Island investors, while Figr Norfolk, located in Ontario, was purchased by a different company and did not keep the Figr name.
